Police has finally arrested a former Makerere University lecturer who recently killed his daughters.
Emmanuel Sabiiti Ndyanabo was arrested in the neighbouring district of Buhweju where he had got asylum.
Emmanuel allegedly cut his two daughters to death following a bitter argument with his wife in which she claimed the children didn’t belong to him.
The deceased are Kendo Kukunda and Lilan Ainembabazi.
The incident happened in Kabutsye ward in Masheruka town council where Emmanuel Sabiiti and family were living.
Emmanuel Sabiiti is a former Swahili language lecturer at Makerere University Business School.
Reports indicate that Emmanuel who had been on the run since the incident has finally been arrested by police. He will be arraigned before court to answer to murder charges.
