Phiona Bizzu, Miss Uganda 2012/2013 and four orphans were conned of their benefits that amounted to over 70 Million shillings in 2008 by John Paul Baigana a top city lawyer.

The benefits are from a case that was filed and won by the four children against the disused Uganda Electricity Board for negligence that led to the death of their parents. Their Legal adviser. John Paul was given 75.8 Million which he never gave to the children.

Today, the court of Appeal has handed a 4 year sentence to Baigana for defrauding the 4 children, and former Miss Uganda, Phiona Bizzu.

The Justices on the case all concluded that Baigana must compensate the 4 children with 50 million shillings and also a 21% interest from September 2, 2009 to date. This money is to be paid within 7 days to the court registry or the city lawyer’s property will be put up for auction.
