Oliver Nakakande, Uganda’s beauty queen and 2019-2022 miss Uganda has finally graduated.
Nakakande bagged a diploma in journalism from UMCAT, making her dream of being a TV presenter more visible.
Nakakande is among the over 300 students that graduated from UMCAT school of journalism and media studies on December 20th.
Oliver Nakakande was miss Uganda 2019 and she carried the crown much longer than her predecessors due to covid-19 that made it impossible to have the beauty pageant organised.
Due to the long period in office and stressing classwork, Nakakande wasn’t able to well execute her duties as miss Uganda and got decrowned.
Nakakande was replaced by Elizabeth Bagaya as interim miss Uganda during Covid-19 lockdown.
Despite the hardship, Nakakande’s sweat has finally paid off as she graduated with a diploma in journalism.
