The race for Miss Uganda this year is seemingly very competitive. Elizabeth Bagaya is one of those beauties competing for the crown. The 24 year old graduated from UCU, Mukono with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management. Bagaya like most of her friends call her is a make up artist and is the proprietor of Glam by Liz.
When we asked her why she is standing for Miss Uganda, she said that she wants to create mental health awareness amongst the youth. She feels that mental health is a very core issue that many Ugandans ignore because they look at it as a white man disease.
She is a black beauty with a very radiating smile. It is with her smile and heart of gold that she hopes to influence many Ugandans to vote for her to take over the Miss Uganda crown.
If she wins, she hopes to have government to incorporate mental health awareness programs at all institutions.. From bi polar disease, to panic attacks, depression, among so many others.
Best of luck to this year’s contestant number 3. May the best girl win take the crown.
