Mrs. Lorna Magara, the Chairperson of the Makerere University Council has today laid a foundation stone for the construction of Makerere School of Law Building in a groundbreaking ceremony that was graced by university management led by Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Umar Kakumba and staff members from Law School as well as the contractor.
Kakumba represented Prof Barnabas Nawangwe(Vice Chancellor) who is out of the country for official duty. The ceremony has marked intense construction of the building following years of planning amid complaints from Law students who badly wanted this futuristic building.
