The French embassy of Uganda with the help of Jules-Armand Aniambossou, the French ambassador to Uganda purchased learning materials for the MUBS French club with the aim of making the learning of the French language easier at the institution in a ceremony held at Makerere University Business School.
“We would like to thank the French embassy for the long time partnership with this institute and also for having us in their plans” said Prof. Moses Muhwezi the Deputy principal Makerere University Business School.
“The student that you have enabled to know French will always be in debt of you because fifteen, twenty years down the road they will be grateful for this gesture of gratitude ” he added.
The French learning incentives came in form of books, audio recordings, computer, sound systems among others.
“Happy that we have received scholastic materials, it’s our time to utilize this opportunity to grab those opportunities in the French sector” said Priscilla Lamwaka one of the people present at the ceremony.
Mr Joshua Ampumuza the current club president has revealed that as the french club, they are grateful to the French Embassy Uganda for supporting the learning of French amongst the youth.
