As the country prepares to fully reopen come January 2022, the Kyambogo University Academic Registrar has released the university’s academic calendar (semester one) for the year 2021/22. The calendar was approved by the institution’s Senate during its 66th seating that was held on Monday, 20th December 2021.
According to the calendar that Campus Bee has already obtained, Kyambogo resident students are scheduled to report on 5th February 2022 while the freshers’ orientation will be held on Sunday, 6th February.
The calendar further indicates that Kyambogo University will continue with blended learning by teaching some students online while others will be allowed to report on campus in a staggered manner.
The university will kick off face to face lectures (for a period of six weeks) on 14th February 2022. The university will then switch to online teaching on 28th March 2022 for a period of four weeks.
The Banda-based scholars are to sit for their end-of-semester exams for a period of two weeks from 28th April to 8th May 2022.
According to the institution’s Academic Registrar, School Deans will work with heads of departments to come up with both online and face to face time tables for their respective programmes.
