Lira University has finally released the names of the successfully admitted students under the direct (A-level scheme) – private academic year 2019/2020 August intake.
The office of the academic registrar released the names earlier today with the largest intake going to Bachelor of business administration- weekday with 38 admitted students followed by Bachelor of Science in midwifery. The least number admitted was 1 person, a Mr. Opio Isaac for Bachelor of Science with education- physics/chemistry
The officially approved number of courses offered at Lira University has been increased from 8 in the 2018/2019 intake to 19 courses in the 2019/2020 intake including week day and weekend courses
Lira University academic registrar Dr. Evelyn Karindiriza stressed that the admission letters can only be picked from the admissions office in Public Health Block between 8:00 am and 5:00pm starting on Monday 1st July 2019.
She also made it clear that applications are still open up to10th July 2019 and encourage those who are willing and ready to join this great institution to apply and enjoy the best of their university experience at Lira University.
Those who may want to appeal to the admission office should direct their letters to the admissions office I writing and clearly addressed to the academic registrar before 20th July 2019.
