Bishop Stuart University (BSU) is a private chartered, not for profit university established by Ankole diocese to provide affordable education to both Ugandan and international students.
Through the academic registrar’s department, BSU wishes to inform the public that the institution has opened up applications for both undergraduate and postgraduate students for May, July and August 2020/2021 intakes.
BSU is made up of five faculties with a variety of courses at certificate, diploma, bachelors, masters, post graduate diplomas and PhDs. The faculties are;

Minimum entry Requirements:
a) Under Graduate Applicants
i) Applicants should have obtained at least a first-class or second class Diploma or its equivalent from a recognized and chartered university/institution.
ii) Applicants must also possess a Ugandan Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 Passes (or its equivalent) and a Ugandan Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two Principal Passes and one Subsidiary Pass obtained at the same sitting (or its equivalent).
iii) Diploma applicants
Minimum requirement S6, 1 principal pass and two subsidiaries, O’level 5 passes.
b) Graduate applicants
i) The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
ii) A Ph.D. applicant must possess a Master’s Degree from a recognized University.
Applicants will be required to submit their applications online at any time or to the Academic Registrar’s office at the main campus, Kakoba. Mbarara district.
Application fee UGX 30,000 for Undergraduates, UGX 50,000 for Masters and Postgraduates and UGX 100,000 for PhD.
