Girls Academically Outshine Boys on 8th Muteesa I Royal University Graduation Ceremony

On Friday 13th December, a total of 915 students graduated from Muteesa 1 Royal University at its main campus in Kirumba – Masaka.

This was the 8th graduation ceremony of Muteesa 1 Royal University and it was graced by Princess Joan Nassolo (Kabaka’s daughter) who was the guest of honour together with the Katikiro (prime minister) Charles Peter Mayiga.

On a special note the university appreciated the best performers from each faculty and there were awarded with certificates of excellency.

The overall best performers in each faculty were;

  • Faculty of Science and Technology Ms Nakassi Shakirah
  • Faculty of Social Culture and Development Studies Ms Nakato Agnes
  • Faculty of Education Mr. Kasibante George
  • Faculty of Business and Management Ms.Nakasinde Flavia
