Ugandan-Rwandan singer Gloria Busingye, popularly known as Gloria Bugie, has found herself at the center of yet another scandal, as a second nude video of the star has surfaced online. The explicit clip, which shows Bugie engaging in suggestive behavior while seated in a chair, has quickly gone viral, reigniting debates and speculation surrounding the singer’s private life.
The footage, whose source remains unknown, captures Bugie seductively massaging herself. Despite the intimate nature of the video, the “Bankyawa” hitmaker does not appear to be distressed, leading many to wonder whether the recording was done with her consent. Still, the origin of the video remains unclear.
This latest incident comes just two months after Bugie’s first nude video rocked the internet in September 2024. In that instance, the singer claimed to be a victim of revenge pornography, asserting that a blackmailer had leaked the video without her consent. She reported the matter to the police, who began an investigation.
Revenge pornography refers to the malicious and non-consensual distribution of private, sexual images or videos, often shared as a form of punishment or humiliation.
The response from Bugie’s fans has been divided. Some have expressed sympathy, condemning the violation of her privacy, while others have speculated that the videos may have been deliberately released as a publicity stunt to boost her music career.
Uganda’s Anti-Pornography Act (2014) explicitly prohibits the creation and distribution of explicit sexual content through any form of publication, exhibition, or information technology, making the circulation of such videos a criminal offense.
While Bugie has yet to issue a statement regarding this latest leak, public discussion surrounding her continues to heat up.
