Kyambogo University has been engulfed in sadness following the untimely passing of their very own student, Uthman Mukoti who passed on yesterday.
Mukoti was in his third and final year at the University pursuing Bachelors in Economics and Statistics at the time of his demise.
Circumstances surrounding his death are not clear yet as the family hasn’t made an official communication but according to sources close the deceased, the late Uthman was battling serious health complications which started a month into the COVID-19 lockdown that came after schools and universities were closed.
Friends to the deceased have expressed sadness that has be-fallen them having lost their friend.
“Brother, it’s very hurting to learn about your demise, you were such a humble and kind person who was full of life. And now this marks the end of the road. May your dear soul rest in peace” one of the deceased’s friends wrote on their Facebook timeline.
Our sources have also confirmed that the deceased will be laid to rest today at his home of residence in Iganga.
