For as long as miniature brains like Alengot’s are still allowed to inter – twine with parliamentary business, represent the issues and grievances of the many back home [at Usuk], before 2016, don’t expect any developmental issues being tabled for conclusive serious debate. Rather expect to continue hearing requisitions for condoms around the parliamentary wash rooms and for a spacious luxurious parking lot.
Therefore, this September intake, the youngest serving parliamentarian Honourable Alengot Proscovia will no longer be a student at Uganda Christian University, Mukono campus, where she was pursuing bachelors in Mass Communication. She was axed by the varsity due to many “bisajja” (read retakes). Campusbee can authoritatively reveal that the 20-year-old Usuk MP has moved on and is now a fresher at UCU, Kampala campus, Rubaga, pursuing bachelors in Public Administration.
Alengot earned herself three freaking retakes in just one semester. Her course mate, who preferred to talk on condition anonymity, reveals that she constantly attributes her failure to the mass communication Head of Department Monica Chibita’s malicious acts towards her.
“She’d been challenging Chibita on several occasions with matter that’s why the two have serious beef,” her course mate adds. We eavesdropped too that she continues to give the too many business trips and parliamentary seating clashing with her lectures for a reason.
Alengot tight lipped
Contacted on a telephone conversation, Alengot declined to elaborate on any of the above only acquitting herself of all these traitorous allegations towards her by her colleges. “Ahh that’s the world we live in, that’s just trash,” she said. Two years down the road now all put to waste so lady it’s now justifiable for us to categorise you under the mature age fresher group.
