Emmanuel Mayanja, alias AK47, lays in Mulago Hospital mortuary as we write this. After passing on at Nsambya Hospital, where he was rushed to for treatment by fellow Musician, Diamond Oscar….the doctors, however, unfortunately, pronounced him dead five minutes later.
Doctors who examined AK47’s body at Nsambya Hospital said AK47 had been beaten to death since injuries were found on his chest, contrary to initial reports that he had slipped in his bath and died.
Other sources say the 25-year-old dance hall singer was involved in a bar brawl where he was beaten to pulp at Dejavu Bar, Kansanga and his body dumped in the washrooms. Police have closed down the bar and its premises have been cordoned off as a crime scene as rigorous investigations kick off.
