A student today wrote a congratulatory letter to the Uganda Christian University guild president, Arthur Baliruno referring to him as the best guild president this university has ever had.
Dear Arthur
“I have no doubt that the vote to shoot government has exceeded and beaten all the other governments in physical achievements.
I have of recent seen people complaining why the president, H.E Arthur Baliruno does not do what they wish. However my clear understanding is that this chap has been in almost all governments, he has been a campaigning agent, and he has sat down to read the philosophy and ideology of every government
Believe me or not this chap has tried and he is yet to reach his brim and bliss of success by the end of his reign.
Close to two weeks in govt, he convinced the administration to cut on tuition penalties or extend the penalty dates, after that he was sensible enough to make sure students who had no sitting space in the dinning hall got a very nice looking tent to accommodate them as the campus looks for other ways to expand the DH, he also procured dustbins and he is the reasons why UCU now has no garbage around and empty bottles, when you enter the Students boardroom, he has furnished it with Italian furniture and swinging office chairs, the cabinet reshuffle was superb leaving alone the tribal differences that people have alleged, when you look at the list it depicts confidence
WHY THEN SHOULD I CALL YOU A FAILURE, CONGS ARTHUR”
