Ninteen-year-old Sheilah Gashumba may have learnt that education is key after being humiliated by Makerere University students who refused to be addressed by for being an academic “dwarf”. Campusbee can exclusively report that after the MUK ‘intellectuals’ chased her away from their campus for lack of academic credentials, the NTV presenter has enrolled in City Varsity, a media school for a short certificate course. “I will be back to Uganda in June after finishing my short course but will get back to South Africa in July for the MTV Awards,” Sheila told Campusbee in a WhatsApp chat.
The daughter to the motor mouthed city businessman and motivational speaker, Frank Gashumba has vowed to shut up MUK students who thought she had dropped out of school. “I am taking my studies serious,” she affirmed.
The question now stands; is a certificate course enough for Sheila Gashumba?
