UCU News Letter Editor Turns ‘Political Fraudster’

Once upon a time there lived a man of substance, of integrity. He pointed out errors where most eyes tended to ignore, he wrote subtly, he criticised wisely. He was the editorial messiah of his day. Like they say, where there’s good, evil hides nearby. Where there’s honesty, dishonestly lurks nearby. Indeed sometimes it’s just dishonesty appearing under the cover of honesty.

The man in our story is Don Wanyama, a minor opinion poll exposed his heart’s desire. Today, another such editor lives among us, Ladies, gentlemen I present to you Taremwa, the editorial Saul, the Don of our time! Last week, the editor of Standard, UCU News Letter, Alex Taremwa famed for his scathing attacks of Amama Mbabazi, orchestrated a Don move.
He of late has claimed to have seen the light. The man he deeply criticised and demonised, the Go Foward king, has turned into his messiah. He got a pack of UCU students who had their NRM cards and and ‘converted’ them to the GO Foward camp.

Drones and inside sources intimate that Taremwa is a tactical fraudster whose sole purpose is to wreck untold havoc on Amama Mbabazi’s political funds. He seems to have mastered the art of Drama. The stage managed conversion included the handing over of NRM cards and denouncing the party in favour of Going Foward. Never the mind the photos show only one NRM member handing over his party card to Taremwa.

It’s quite suspicious that a mere debate was enough to sway the educated fellas. It’s just a matter of time, before the forty days expire. One of the changed disciples, is a renowned FDC supporter. It is on record that the so called conversions was meant to impress Amama that he is doing a good job.
