The Ugandan government through the Higher Education Students’ Financing Board (HESFB) has this morning released a list of successful loan scheme beneficiaries under Lot 2 at a ceremony held at Uganda Media Centre in Kampala.
The event was graced by the state minister for primary education Dr. Moriku Kaducu who cautioned successful applicants to make proper use of their loan scheme as she applauded the board for not limiting the exercise to specific regions.
According the list, a total of 610 students were given a chance to study on loan and pay after their studies. These included first and final year students from Makerere University, Kyambogo University, Soroti University, Busitema University, Gulu University, and other tertiary institutions across the country.
