With just about less than a week left for him to do his final exams that would see him await graduation next Jan, Pedro Ibanda was struck by an illness that left him bedridden for about a fortnight. In the middle of the week, he was pronounced dead leaving the whole university covered by grief and sorrow.
That very day after getting the sad news, Mitchelites, started a vigil to celebrate the life of their former chairman aspirant.
Yesterday, a faction of students travelled to Kaliro district to escort their fallen comrade who died at a very tender age. Pedro was full of life and ambitions at the time his sudden demise occurred.
Friends revealed that he was to take part in his district leadership as LCV in the next general elections. Rest in peace fallen soldier, Ibanda Ronald Pedro, we shall always celebrate your life as our very own comrade!
