Yesterday 27th July 2020, hundreds of mourners flocked the burial ceremony of the late Namara Emily at her ancestral home in Kasana Cell, Rugarama sub-county Ntungamo district.
The body of the deceased was found decomposing in her room in Namugongo Wakiso district. According to witnesses, Namara is suspected to have died from natural causes basing on the fact her door was found intact.
In his address to the mourners, Saidat Muhereza the Rugarama Sub county Councilor advised the youth to engage and value education not only for their future benefit but for the community and the nation at large.
“My advice to the parents is that let’s give a fair treat to all the children whether our biological ones and all those that we can access. This will create a favorable environment for a safe living in this country,” he advised.
Billy Baryabasa the deceased’s father praised her fallen daughter for being down to earth, adorable and could hardly be found in any wrong. He called upon the mourners not to be taken up by pride in all their daily endeavors.
The late Namara was a former student of St. Joseph’s Girls Nsambya (JOGINSA). She had recently graduated from Makerere Universityduring the 70th graduation ceremony with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA).
