Kampala International University (KIU) has announced an exciting January 2025 bursary program.
The university is now offering significant financial relief to prospective students by providing up to 50% tuition reduction for programs lasting 1-3 years, 60% for programs of 4 years and above, and 80% for in-service programs.
The bursary scheme operates on a first-come, first-served basis, requiring applicants to submit their documentation in person at any KIU campus.
Successful applicants must first make their portion of the tuition payment before being considered for the award.
To be eligible, prospective students need to provide several key documents, including their KIU admission letter, a recommendation from their District LC5, LC3, or Mayor, and copies of their academic documents from S4 and above.
Applicants must also attach one passport photo and include the bank slip confirming their tuition payment.
The initiative particularly benefits students who demonstrate both academic merit and financial need.
