The Gulu University guild government under the Ministry of Gender and Women Affairs have organised the second edition of ‘FACE OF GULU UNIVERSITY’.
This edition, organized under the theme: “COMBATING SEXUAL HARASSMENT AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS” will be the second consecutive event since the inception of the annual event.
“This event is focused on the integration of intelligence, beauty, talent and creativity to empower women and girls,” said Mutoni Agnes, the Minister for Gender and Women Affairs in the Revamp government.
There was also confirmation that the participants have been doing rehearsals in preparation for the event which is scheduled for Friday 23rd November at the biggest stage of the ‘coolest’ hangout joint-Smiling Panda, Gulu.
It’s confirmed that 14 ladies from different faculties of the university will grace the event to demonstrate their talents and the chocolate beauty from the North. The participants have been designed with fantastic cultural outfits and make up.
The moods at the university are so jovial and many of them have started voting for their favourite contestants.
