Today has been a cold day for the entire Gulu University community as they laid to rest their departed student Okot Innocent Owacgiu in Atiak district.
This departed humble soul; a friend to many, had struggled though life and reached his second year of Bachelor of Education.
The day prior to his departure from this world, he was his usual jovial self, jazzed, cracked jokes and laughed with friends. Unknown to them, this would be their last time to see their colleague breathing.
The following morning on 15th this month, he was found by his friends, cold out, dead, departed from this world! The cause of his early demise still remains a secret only known by the angel who has watched over him since his birth.
Rest In peace comrade Okot Innocent Owacgiu!
