Kyambogo University is holding an open day counseling that is to be graced by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Eli Katunguka.
The Open day counseling is being done to join the rest of the world in celebrating the International Psychology week 2020.
The counseling is aimed at sensitizing the students about vices that tend to take up the youth like drug abuse as well as HIV/AIDS, pregnancy, abortion and others.
The ceremony started with a marching exercise that was led by the Kyambogo University brass band. Different University clubs joined the walk where members walked behind the band, hoisting placards that had appealing and sensitive messages.
The function is being held at the TTE grounds next to Stanbic bank. There are free services like Hepatitis B screening, HIV/AIDS Testing and counseling, Aerobics, blood donation and free professional counseling.
The event has been organized by the Kyambogo University Psychology department and Medical center.
