Makerere University community, especially the alumni and those associated with Mitchel Hall are mourning the demise of a comrade.
The deceased has been identified as Opolot Pascal, a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences.
Opolot was a renown Mitchelite and part of the Rat Guard Brigade (RGB). His former Hall of residence broke the news.
“We are saddened to hear of the passing of @OpolotPascal .Opolot was a huge part of Mitchell Hall since 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences last year. The cause of death is still unknown. Our thoughts & prayers are with Opolot’s family. Rest well Pascal,” the Hall announced.
Burial arrangements are already ongoing and more details to be availed soon.
