Heartbroken Kenzo Fan Wants Dr. Sebunya Punished for Eloping With his “Patient” Rema

One of singer Edirisa Musuza aka Eddy Kenzo’s fans, Sharif Sentongo Nambaale has run to the Allied Health Professional Council to report Dr. Hamza Sebunya, the man who snatched singer Rema Namakula from Kenzo. Through his lawyers Ms Nalukoola, Kakeeto Advocates and Solicitors, Nambaale wants Dr. Sebunya to be punished by the council’s disciplinary committee.

Our client has drawn our attention to the fact that he has learnt through the press and social media that during subsistence of Mr Edirisa Musuza aka Eddie Kenzo and Ms Rema Namakula’s relationship, the person who was a doctor to Rema Namakula one Dr. Sebunya Hamza has contracted marriage with her which our client believes constitutes professional and ethical misconduct.” Reads part of the lawyers’ submission to the registrar, Allied Health Professional Council.

The lawyers demand that Sebunya is punished by the disciplinary committee using its powers as stipulated in Section 38 (1) (2) and (4) of the Allied Health Professional Act Cap. 268 of the laws of Uganda.

Sebunya, a medical doctor at Mulago Hospital is also pursuing his degree in General Medicine at Makerere Medical School .

It is not clear whether Kenzo’s fan’s intervention is aimed at stopping Sebunya’s introduction ceremony with Rema slated for November  14^th 2019 or he just wants the doctor punished.
