Semester two of 2015/2016 academic year ended on Saturday, May 28, 2016 and many students took a break from the ever busy campus schedule. However, the program for semester one of 2016/2017 academic year is already out and many who thought that the holiday was long are surprised at how first time flies.
Below are the important dates for students to note as they prepare for the commencement of the next academic year;
Saturday, August 13, 2016 – Beginning of Semester One 2016/2017 academic year.
Saturday, August 13, 2016 to Friday, August 19, 2016 – Orientation week for first year students.
Monday, August 22, 2016 – Commencement of Lectures.
September 24th, 25th and October 1st, 2nd [5th and 6th weekends] – First Course Work Tests
November 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th [10th and 11th Weekends] – Second Course work test
28th November to 17th December – End of Semester One examinations.
The long holiday is suddenly coming to a close, the curfew will soon be gone and the hectic university schedule will come in place, brace yourselves.
