Hima Cement has officially opened applications for its highly anticipated Internship Program 2025, offering university students a chance to gain hands-on industry experience in one of Uganda’s leading cement manufacturing companies.
The internship will run from June to August 2025, and is aimed at undergraduate students pursuing degrees in the following disciplines:
- Mechanical Engineering (Application Code: MIX 03)
- Electrical Engineering (Application Code: EIX 03)
- Automation and Instrumentation (Application Code: AIIX 02)
- Industrial Chemistry (Application Code: ICIX 01)
- Mechatronics (Application Code: MEIX 01)
Hima Cement emphasized its commitment to investing in young talent, helping students develop practical skills and explore career paths in the cement manufacturing industry.
Application Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must submit the following:
- A formal internship application letter
- An introduction letter from their university
- A copy of their university student ID
