Campus Bee has with the utmost distress learned of the demise of a Kyambogo University Civil Engineering Student, Sam Twashaba, commonly known on Twitter as Mr Sam.
The late Sam, while on a boda boda, was reportedly ran over by a reckless car driver who was driving at speed faster than a Formula one champion’s.
The unbearable incident occurred along the Entebbe Express road, claiming an innocent life.
“….we have lost such a young soul Mr. Kivuna Sam an engineer at Kyambogo university. Most of you know him as Mr. Sam on twitter spaces . He has been knocked down by an over speeding car on Entebbe express as he was on a boda boda,” a grieving pal tweeted.
The Bee has also established that Mr Sam was not just an engineering student, but also a “work in progress”, having been employed as a Project Engineer by a top Engineering firm in the country; Footnote Consults Ltd.
The company couldn’t bear with the tragedy, only to express the grief with a sorrowful statement;
No words can truly describe the pain Sam’s family and close friends are going through; losing such a gem at a tender age. May the Almighty grant the deceased the most eternal rest!
