The office of the Academic Registrar of Kyambogo University has released guidelines for freshly admitted students on how they can change their courses as well as the learning time. According to the guidelines released on 14th February 2022, the steps only work for freshers admitted on the direct entry scheme for Academic Year 2021/2022.
Freshers can follow the procedures below;
- Log onto your individual student’s portal using your username and pasword on myportal.kyu.ac.ug. Please ensure that your portal is activated.
- Click on request for a service on your portal.
- Fill in the required information.
- Submit your request through the portal.
- Generate a payment reference number and proceed to pay for the service requested for in any bank.
The charges are; 50,000 for change of programme while change of study time costs UGX 20,000. The deadline for submission of these requests is Friday 18th February 2022 at midnight.
According to the Registrar, freshers must be within the cutoff points of the programme they wish to change to.
