Preliminary investigations suggest that at around 2:00am, an unknown person gained entry into her residence and allegedly strangled her. She was rushed to Mukono Namirembe Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police indicate that the deceased returned home at about 10:00pm on Tuesday night with her children. The house help reportedly opened both the gate and the house for them before later locking up.
Investigators suspect the assailant may have gained entry during the moment when the gate was opened for the deceased’s return.

A laptop bag containing items yet to be established was reportedly stolen. The deceased’s mobile phone, registered under number 0782409072, is also reported missing.
