Huawei Consumer Business Group (Uganda) has announced its partnership with Miss Uganda 2016, expected to climax with a grand finale on 15th October 2016.
While speaking at the Press launch of Miss Uganda 2016, Devices Service Manager Huawei Uganda Sam. C. Ayo said, ‘Huawei has contributed a sponsorship package of 20 Million Ushs worth P9 smartphones and cash towards the organization of the Miss Uganda 2016.’
Brenda Nanyonjo, CEO Miss Uganda noted that the theme for Miss Uganda 2016 is beauty with a purpose with an inclination to promoting agriculture as part of their agenda.
Ayo explained that by using Huawei’s latest flagship – P9, the beauty queens will be able to boost the 2016 Miss Uganda theme by capturing their journey in great quality pictures using high image focusing speeds, delivering photos and videos with superior richness, clarity and authenticity. This is because the P9 is all about re-inventing smartphone photography.
Ayo further explained that the Huawei P9 is are purely targeted to the fashionable and trendy customers.The Huawei P9 features two rear-facing camera lenses, with more light and better clarity enabling one to capture detailed high quality pictures both in good and low light conditions. The P9 excels in both picture quality and image focusing speed, delivering photos with superior richness, clarity and authenticity. The Huawei P9 was for the fourth year running recently named the ‘European Consumer Smartphone 2016/17’ by the European Image and Sound Association (EISA), which testifies Huawei’s commitment to creating new mobile innovations that offer new experiences to its users. Ayo noted that winning the EISA Award by the P9 is the result of exhaustive developments and attention to detail from the world’s top industrial designers and their tireless efforts.
