In a recent and bold declaration, Kampala’s socialite and self-proclaimed “Current President of Single Club,” Sheilah Gashumba, has set a new standard for her dating life following her breakup with singer Rickman Ricky.
In her candid and fiery social media post, Sheilah laid out her expectations for future relationships, sparking buzz and conversation among her followers and fans.
Sheilah emphasized the importance of clear communication and defined relationships, advocating for a shift away from ambiguous romantic entanglements.
“Men should start asking us, ‘Can you be my girlfriend?’ Then you weigh and then say YES OR NO depending on how you feel,” she wrote. This approach, according to Sheilah, would put an end to the confusion that often arises from casual encounters that swiftly transition into undefined relationships.
But the real kicker in Sheilah’s post was her new financial benchmark for potential partners.
“I’m personally not sleeping or dating anyone who doesn’t earn 10 times more than I earn again,” she stated. This high standard is not just in Ugandan Shillings, but she’s talking about earnings in Pounds, US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Euros, Canadian Dollars, and other strong currencies.
Sheilah confidently mentioned that she earns “very good money a week, not even a month,” although she has chosen not to disclose her exact earnings.
