There is a heated discussion online following a story we published that reported how Kyambogo University students are enjoying lectures in a building under construction. The building in question is Central Lecture Block whose construction is still on phase two.
The university is currently holding lectures on two floors; basement/ground floor and the first floor. The upper floors are still under construction and it remains unclear when works will be finalized.
Ejiku Lazarus Blazo dived into our comments section to confess that he got impressive grades despite doing his exams from the mentioned unfinished building. Just like many students who commented on our story, Ejiku is not complaining about the building.
“I particularly did my exams from that building and never complained. As a matter of fact the grades were good, so, it’s not about where you study from, it’s the knowledge u acquire that matters. For you who studied under finished buildings you are lucky because I see u r even an Administrator.” Ejiku’s comment reads.
A one Abriel Odips suggested that it would be prudent if only engineering students are allowed to study under such circumstances.
“Only best if it’s engineering students studying under this. With hard hats overalls and safety shoes haha,” Odips commented.
