Sex is almost un avoidable when at campus.The love for exploration, adventure and curiosity are some of the push effects. Most students lose their virginity while at campus, the peer pressure and the urge to fit in just like the rest is pretty much of a factor too.
With campus, you need to be smart and that’s when protective measures come in. If it’s not on it’s not safe! Exactly!!, and every student knows about this. However, most preffer sex without a condom because then, it’s more fun. Girls result to swallowing pills as the boys learn to withdraw.
Suzan Nalwanga, a student at UMCAT says she has had the worst experience with postinor. The 22year old says condoms were good until she tasted sex without a condom. Since then she swore never to use them again, Everytime she has live sex , she would buy postinor and it went on so well, until one day she bought the pills on her way back home, swallowed them immediately and called it a day.
To her dismay, she was pregnant a week later! She felt so confused and tormented because she was still at campus and so was the baby daddy, who was a one night stand. She visited the hospital to inquire about how she got pregnant even after swallowing her usual pill. The doctors explained the fact that her body got used to the same drug and therefore it was nolonger effective. Just like that, Suzan was so stressed that she had no other choice but to abort. Luckily for her, it was safe. She swore never to do pills again.
Just like her, you too could fall victim. Let’s abstain, if we cant help it, use condoms! . The more you keep using those pills even before you give birth, the more chances you stand to losing your life. Life is precious, let’s learn to appreciate that.
