Kyambogo university guild presidential aspirants on Tuesday afternoon held their first ever virtual guild debate- that was broadcast on Facebook.
The debate featured over five candidates and a one Kigaya Colline Kigaya aka the political virgin caught our attention. Kigaya revealed that he will not have intercourse with corruption if elected guild president of the second biggest university in Uganda.
“I have methodologies that I will use to select guild ministers. By considering competence not tribe or religion. Unity and inclusive leadership is what I am for,” the “virgin” charged.
He added; “Having a virgin president is what everyone at Kyambogo yearns for because he can not allow to have intercourse with corruption…can you imagine? As a political virgin, I will always involve the press to expose corruption in the institution (Kyambogo).
I call upon all the Kyambogo students to vote for the political virgin. I alway say it is better to be a lion for one day than be a sheep for the rest of your life. That is why, however young I am, I have come to seek mandate of being your guild president.”
Kyambogo university students will be heading to the polls tomorrow Thursday 11th March 2021.
