The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) has released results for the March 2022 examinations.
The results for the tests held between 14th March to 18th March 2022 were released on Friday 1st April, 2022 at Sky Hotel Naguru in a ceremony officiated by Mr Othieno Mayende the president of ICPAU.
A total of 2890 students sat for the March 2022 examinations with the females proving to be mightier than their male counterparts regards the general performance.
Mr Othieno Mayende advised accountants to uphold the accounting principles of ethics and integrity for these are the core values of the profession.
“You should have high levels of integrity and ethics. Without ethics, without integrity our profession is as good as nothing,” Othieno said.
Students that sat for the March examinations can access their results from their student accounts.
The March 2022 were held to compensate for the time lost as a result of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
