Makerere University Business School (MUBS) held quite a blissful swearing in and Handover of the students’ Guild cabinet at Spring Hotel ovwer the weekend.
The ceremony was patronised by Mr. Robison Ogwang, the outgoing Guild president who applauded the management of MUBS for allowing many students sit for exams during COVID times even without completion of tuition.
He further commended MUBS management for increasing the number of beneficiaries on the sports tuition waiver from 25 to 60 across all MUBS campuses.
MUBS Principal Prof. Waswa Balunywa had a smooth working relationship with the outgoing students’ leadership hence pledged a worthwhile payback;
“I’m going to give a job to the outgoing guild president, the Guild minister of Education and any other member of the outgoing guild executive who may have a first class degree.”
