ISBAT University has introduced the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) module to improve digital skills of both students and staff.
Mr. Hareesh Kumar, the general manager in charge of business development at ISBAT University said there is need for all students and staff to get skilled and certified through ICDL so as to meet the labour market demands.
This he said while speaking to Mr. Dan Muhenda, the ICDL Market Development Executive in Uganda.
“ISBAT has the human resource and the latest equipment’s to deliver ICDL training and certification at any level. We are more than glad to work with ICDL and our partnership has been strong for quite some time. Starting today we want to revive this partnership and ensure that we have training and certification ongoing all the time,” Hareesh said.
ISBAT University is looking forward to issuing ICDL certificates to at least 200 students in the next three months.
The International Computer Driving License (ICDL) is an internationally recognized computer qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in use of computer applications.
ISBAT University (International Business Science And Technology University) is a chartered university in Uganda that trains learners in the field of Business and commerce, Information Technology, Hotel Management, and Engineering.
