International University of East Africa (IUEA) voted new guild government on Monday.
John Chol as their new Guild President for the year 2018/2019 after he emerged the winner of the contested race.
A total of 3 guild president aspirants competed for the top most position of the university. John contested with Agape Buyana who came second and Frank Musore in the third position.
The nature of the elections this time around as contrasted to the other years had the presidential aspirants standing with their intended vice guild president. A win for the elected guild president would mean an obvious win for the vice.
Lucy Mega Munduru stood behind John and so is the new vice president. Alice Barlow campaigned with Frank, and Leonard Jerry campaigned with Agape.
