International University of East Africa (IUEA) is organizing a charity rugby match at Legends bar rugby grounds tomorrow to raise funds to support Nsambya Babies’ home.
The event termed, ‘rugby edition sevens rugby’ is organized by IUEA in conjunction with Throw it Back( TIB), and is expected to be a fun-filled one with several teams, and best players will be rewarded with several gifts.
The event will be headlined by TIB, the official rugby teams from Legends bar spiced up with lots of entertainment, drinks and nyamachoma will also be available.
The place to be for the rugby lovers and sports men and women is Legends bar rugby grounds tomorrow between 10am -6pm, starting with registration of participating teams and after, a grand prize of Shs1,000,000 will be given to the overall winners. Best players will also be awarded under categories like MVP, best tackle, best side step, top scorer and best try.
Team Captain Titans, Mark Aine, also a member of the organizing team, says the event will be a one to remember with lots of entertainment and fun, all for the babies sake.
“From tradition, we shall be doing this for Nsambya babies home. For the love of these children, tell a friend to tell a friend to come through and we make these young faces smile,” he says.
The charity rugby game is also sponsored by IUEA and entrance will only be Shs 10, 000 and will take place tomorrow Friday.
