Dark clouds hover over Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) after her own student, Mercy Sikhoya passed on over the weekend. Sikhoya was expected to graduate with Bachelor of Laws (LLB) during 29th Graduation Ceremony of the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) slated for 10th April, 2021.
Mercy passed Sunday morning and the burial of her remains awaits for her father’s directive who is currently in Somalia.
The deceased was a Gishu from Namisindwa.
During her studies at Islamic University in Uganda Main Campus , the late Mercy served in Islamic University Law Students’ Society as Assistant Secretary General during 2017/2018 Academic Year and also in the Islamic University Course Coordinator’s Association as Legal Advisor during the same Academic Year.
May God forgive her shortcomings and offer her paradise.
