All roads will tomorrow lead to Mbale’s Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU), where the instititution will hold its 24th graduation ceremony.
Students expected to graduate are from the institution’s four campuses namely Arua, Kabojja(female campus), Kibuli and the Nkoma-based, which is the main campus.
According to the recently appointed Academic Registrar and former director Females’ campus Dr Halima Wakabi Akbar, 2699 students will graduate, amongst which some will be awarded Masters, bachelors degrees, diplomas, certificates in various disciplines. 130 will receive first class honours.
Best student overall, runners up, best female, most innovative and creative students will also be recognised and awarded.
The event will also be telecast live on NBS TV, Salaam TV and a delayed broadcast on UBC TV.
