Kabaicha Sharifa is a final year student of Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) who went missing from Namugongo as she headed to Kibuli. Kabaicha is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at the Islam-founded University.

In a phone call with her sister called Kenyange Shalima, the Mass Communication finalist has been found but she has not said anything in regards to her disappearance, something that has pushed her family to take her to police. “They found her, I don’t have much information that’s why am not giving you information because I really don’t know. …and besides that, she has not said anything. May be when they took her to the police, that’s where she will talk from.” Kenyange told Campus Bee.

Kenyange adds that the person who went with Kabaicha has an MTN line, whose number she had not saved. According to Kenyange, Kabaicha’s phone was faulty, a reason that has made it hard to communicate despite being found.

Posts of Kabaicha’s disappearance have been making rounds allover social media where various people have been requesting the general public to call her family in case they spot her anywhere.

By the time we contacted Kenyange, she was waiting for her sister’s return from police who she believes will talk to her about the whole disappearance scenario.
