The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) has digitalised application method for the April , July and August intakes. The institution has asked students who need to study at the University to apply online.
A Facebook post on IUIU Official page, reads that students who need study at the multi-award winning university can use digital gadgets to choose programs of their choice.
“Let’s keep fighting covid-19 and still have our educational dream alive at IUIU #APPLY ONLINE https://www.iuiu.ac.ug/Default.aspx then click on admissions,” reads a Facebook post.
Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) has four campuses namely Main in Mbale, Kampala in Kibuli, Females in Kabojja and Arua in Arua. The institution offers several programs at Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors and Masters levels.
Some of the programs are Certificate in Records Management, Certificate in Midwifery, Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication, Bachelor of Statistics, Bachelor of Nursing Sciences, Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management, Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science among others.
Masters programs include Masters of Education and Master of Public Administration among others.
IUIU enrols both Muslim and non-Muslim students from Uganda and many countries in the world including Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia , Malawi, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan among others.
Last year, Islamic University in Uganda was named the best private university in the country in 2019 by People of the Republic of Uganda at the 7th Visionaries of Uganda Awards held at Kampala Serena Hotel in Kampala.
The institution defeated Uganda Christian University, Bishop Stuart University, Nkumba University, Kampala International University, Mountain of the Moon University, among others.
