Sad news reaching Campus Bee indicates that Ms. Nayiga Sauda, a senior lecturer at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Females’ Campus died on Saturday night.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the university, Miss Rehema Kantono, the deceased was the former Dean of Faculty of Law.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely death of our staff, Ms. Nayiga Sauda, a lecturer at and former Dean Faculty of Law,” says Miss Kantono in a statement that Campus Bee has seen.
Miss Kantono adds,” Our sincere sympathies to the family, friends, relatives, and staff and students, especially at IUIU Females Campus. May Allah give you strength as you go through these trying moments.”
More details indicate that Ms. Nayiga Sauda was laid to rest yesterday, Sunday, February 20th at Nsagu.
The Late Nayiga Sauda studied Bachelor of Laws at the Makerere University from 2003- 2006 and in 2011, she finished her Masters of Comparative Laws at the International Islamic University Malaysia.
