A fourth year student Bachelor of Laws (LLB) identified as Mutonyi Zulaika at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) is requesting well-wishers to help her financially to receive medical treatment of her broken spinal cord after involved in road accident.
The students of the Islamic University in Uganda led by their Guild President Welunga Yusuf have launched an initiative requesting well-wishers to help her financially.
Welunga Yusuf told Campus Bee that Zulaika got an accident on 16th July, 2021 after falling off the motorcycle.
“Unfortunately, her spinal code got broken and the pelvic born too got injured thus rendering her unable to sit, walk and run her daily activities as before,” he says.
He adds, “Currently our dear sister is battling with serious pain and injuries and the family is struggling with medical bills as the doctor advised them to look for the money for her operation, wheel chair, belt and medication.
