Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) – Main campus has emerged winners of the Entrepreneurial Idea Pitching Competition organised by StartHub Africa at Kyambogo University.
The competition brought together students from various universities who have brilliant business ideas that are solving challenges in their communities.

“Namona emerged the winner when he pitched his entrepreneurial idea called “Happy Yoghurt.”
Through the idea , Namona makes Soya yoghurt that can be consumed by people as a substitute of milk yoghurt,” he says.
Clare Mukite, a fourth year Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition’s business idea called Sta Toro – Soy Flour scooped position four.
Namoma told Campus Bee that dedication and hard work led him to achieve the top position in the competition.
He added that the lecturers at IUIU are always behind his idea to see that it reached far.
“I am currently making this Happy Yoghurt and selling it on the campus and outside. I have big dreams and that’s to have my own dairy company called Happy Company,” he says.
