The youngest Presidential Candidate, John Katumba has given the Uganda Police upto 9 am to apologize to Ugandans and to set free Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine was arrested today afternoon in Luuka District in Eastern Uganda as he was headed tor his campaign. He was driven off and detained at Nalufenya Police station in Jinja.
Katumba, using his official Twitter account revealed; “Today I give @PoliceUg an ULTIMATUM!
By latest 9am tomorrow, the police spokesperson should have apologized to Uganda?? for this rowdy behaviour, made ammends for @HEBobiwine and off course release him as soon as now.”
Katumba is vying for the biggest office in Uganda on the Independent ticket. We await to see what happens if Police doesn’t heed to Katumba’s request.
