Leone Island CEO Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone has enrolled for an online course to study International Diplomacy (Degree). The singer, who plans to run for Kampala Lord Mayor position is holding his online studies during this isolation period when most students are at home in a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19.
While appearing on NTV this morning, the singer revealed that staying at home has given a chance to musicians to record more music and do other personal things. Chameleone did not reveal the name of the university he is currently acquiring his International Diplomacy skills but he assured the host that he is indeed studying online.
“This period has really given us a lot of time. We music artists are now making new music because of the time that we have right now. In fact, I am studying online for a degree in International Diplomacy,” he said.
It should be recalled that Chameleone was among the candidates that sat for UACE exams last year and when the results came through, he scored 12 points. He sat his exams at Katuuso Community Secondary School in Makindye Division.
The singer called upon the general public to follow rules set by the Health Ministry in a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19. He further thanked politicians who have fought tirelessly to see this virus does not reach Ugandans.
